Brad Kovolyan was born and raised in Kent, Ohio, where he still lives today. He graduated from Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1998 and joined the U.S. Marine Corps right after. Brad spent four years in the Marines, mostly stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In 2002, he moved to Columbus to attend Ohio State University, where he met his wife, Nina, in 2006. They had their daughter, Kaila, in 2007 and moved back to Kent in 2009. In 2011, their son, Brayden, was born. Kaila is now a junior at Kent Roosevelt and plays on the Lady Riders Golf Team, while Brayden, an eighth-grader at Stanton, plays ice hockey for the Kent Cyclones. Nina works as a clinical research coordinator at the Kent State University Podiatry Clinic, and the family has two dogs, Classie and Carl.

Brad joined Hall-Green Insurance Agency thanks to his close friendship with the late Mike Finley, whose guidance had a strong influence on Brad’s career. As a long-time Kent resident, Brad feels connected to the community and is proud to work with Hall-Green’s current owner, Ted Rusinoff, to carry on Mike’s legacy.
